Bollywood's Rani with Hollywood's Hawke? |

 Acclaimed filmmaker Dev Benegal, who made ‘English August’, is planning to make a film with Bollywood’s Rani Mukherjee and Hollywood star Ethan Hawke.
After lying low for quite some time, Dev Benegal is busy with two projects. For one of them titled ‘Bombay California’, he wants to sign Bollywood’s gorgeous belle Rani Mukherjee with Hollywood’s Ethan Hawke.
However, Dev cautions that it is still too early to talk about things with assurance. But if the plan materializes "then ‘Bombay California’ will generate tremendous curiosity," he says.
‘Bombay California’ will be an East-West romance story in which a modern guy from US falls for a simple Indian girl.
But for the time being, Benegal has put aside the much-cherished project to make ‘Stairway To Heaven’, a contemporary black comedy set in Mumbai. |
